Local Park
Think of a local park. If the entire park was cleared describe the consequences of that clearing. Include thoughts on wildlife and other consequences related to deforestation.

Go to Yale University's The Forum on Religion and Ecology. Choose 3-4 religions to briefly research in more depth specific to their beliefs and statements regarding climate change. Create an infographic, a graphic, or art that summarizes what you learned.
Sea Level Rise
If you don’t live in a coastal city, why is it important to be concerned about sea level rise beyond just being a concerned citizen or a champion for the environment? Think about the social, economic, and environmental impacts as you craft your response.

Create a series of 5 Tweets, Instagram’s, and/or Vine’s that promote and raise awareness around one of the following topics presented in Episode 2: End of the Woods. The Problem with Palm Oil
Write a script for a commercial that will let consumers understand the problem and know what they can do to help solve the problem.
Water Department
Check out your city’s water department website. Research what the city has in place to address drought conditions and/or water conservation. Create a flyer or brochure that will help community members be water wise.

Water Scarcity
Do a Google search using key words, such as “lack of water” or “running out of water”. Find several pieces of evidence that support water scarcity is a global issue.
